A professional cheerleader for the NBA Chicago Bulls and fitness events organizer for the Chicago Mayor’s Fitness Council, Aida Johnson has 30+ years experience in fitness – making her a trusted expert in her field. She now teaches and is the Group Fitness Manager for Equinox at the Village of Merrick Park.
Andre Marcolla Andre Marcolla
Born in Brazil, Andre Marcolla’s passion for athletics began with national and international volleyball competitions as a teenager. Graduating with a degree in Physical Education, Exercise Physiology and Sports Nutrition, Andre became a dedicated personal trainer—with clientele ranging from celebrities to stay at-home moms with the common goal of helping them to achieve their highest level of fitness and quality of life.
Eleonora DePalma Eleonora DePalma
A world-class athlete and National Sport Aerobic Champion for Italy, Eleonora DePalma is new to the Equinox team and teaches Sculpt, Cycling Group Power. Her energetic spirit and fun personality makes members come back for more!

Geoff Bagshaw is one of Canada’s most energetic and inspirational fitness leaders seen in several fitness training videos, magazines and television programs. Geoff is Can-Fit-Pro certified and a BCRPA Supervisor of Fitness Leaders. He is currently Group Fitness Manager for Equinox in Aventura Florida.
Maria Sollon Maria Sollon
An inspiring and enthusiastic fitness professional and strength coach, Maria Sollon has an extensive educational background in her field and is also trained in several Pilates disciplines, as well as Yogafit, Spinning, Kettlebell Training and more. A black belt in martial arts, Maria enjoys developing functional sport specific programs for inspiring athletes and teams.
Silk Manning Silk Manning
A former Mr. Fitness of the Southern States, Silk Manning has been featured in many local and national publications, as well as fitness videos highlighting his expertise as an athlete. Silk has created his own style of Kickboxing Aerobics called Khi-Bae, which is now available on video. With his dynamic personality, combined with his passion for instructing, Silk is known for inspiring his students to dedicate themselves to a lifetime of fitness and continued education.
Suyumi Quiroz Suyumi Quiroz
Born in Juarez, Mexico, Suyumi’s passion for dance can be seen in her natural gift to teach fitness and dance. Currently Suyumi teaches on a regular basis at Equinox in South Beach and Aventura locations. Suyumi is an International Presenter in dance and is living her dream to inspire and make a positive change in the lives of others through her love for teaching and energy for life.
